Saturday, May to September
The full weekend at its best. Friday arrival, Saturday wedding, Sunday breakfast.
Saturday, April & October
Shoulder season. The gardens are at their best in April and the light in October is better than either.
Friday or Sunday, April to October
Identical in every respect except the day on the invitation.
Midweek, April to October
Monday to Thursday. The most under-used and best-value date in the calendar.
Winter, November to March
Fires lit in every room, the house at its most theatrical. Any day of the week.

What the number already covers
- Exclusive use of the house, gardens, lake and park for two full nights
- All thirty bedrooms, the bridal suite included, sleeping up to sixty-four
- Breakfast on both mornings for everybody staying
- All three licensed ceremony spaces — the orangery dressed as standard
- The Long Room and the Gun Room, with their equipment
- Tables, Chiavari chairs, linen, glassware, china and cutlery for 150
- A house manager and a planning lead from booking to the Sunday
- Late licence to 02:00, and the car park, and the cleaning
What is charged separately
Food and drink are the main variable, because they should be. Our wedding breakfast menus run from £95 to £165 a head, and drinks packages from £42. Corkage on your own wine is £18 a bottle.
Flowers, photography, music and the registrar's own fee are yours to choose and pay directly. We will hand you the list of people we trust and then stay out of it.
The things worth adding
Helicopter honeymoon transfer
From the south lawn to Manchester, Birmingham or East Midlands. Two passengers and luggage, one low pass over the lake.
Guest arrival by helicopter
Airport collection for parents or the wedding party arriving from abroad. Priced per aircraft, per leg.
Hair and make-up team
In the Long Room from breakfast. Bride, plus a team rate for the rest of the party.
Barber, in the Gun Room
Cut-throat shaves and tidy-ups for the groom's side on the morning.
Fireworks over the lake
Six minutes, fired from the far bank so the house is between the noise and the bedrooms. Low-noise option available.
Rehearsal dinner in the Library
One long table for up to forty on the Friday evening, three courses.
Nanny and nursery
Qualified, DBS-checked, from the speeches until the last child gives in.
Simple, and in writing.

- Booking confirms on a signed agreement and a deposit of 25%
- A second quarter falls due six months out, the balance six weeks before
